The gorgeous rustic-style lodge depicts a western setting of a mountainous lodge, yet it is located in Northwest Florida and hunters rate it as a premier lodge. Hunters are in awe with the attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.
The lodge was built with handicap and mobility impaired in mind, we are proud to offer hunts to everyone regardless of mobile ability. Bontrager Whitetails is compliant with American Disabilities Act, ADA. All doorways, restroom facilities are 36″ wide and a very spacious walk-in shower can accommodate wheel chairs or walkers.
Stirring the Pot
This is the place where southern hospitality kicks in. We prepare a hearty early morning breakfast prior to your hunt, lunch is sure to satisfy your hunger, and dinner is a delicious hearty home-cooked meal. So relax, enjoy your surroundings and we will take care of the rest.
Plush Comfort
Early to bed, early to rise—the green bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed nestled in a heavy wooden bed frame, and a hand-made wooden rocking chair. The ajacent bathroom has two sinks and shower and is shared with the other bedroom. Sleep comfortably.
Restful Nights
The blue bedroom is furnished with one twin bed and a full size bed in both sit in beautifully carved wood bed frames built from wood grown in the area. The ajacent bathroom is shared with the green bedroom. It has two sinks, toilet and shower facilities. The high end accommodations are found in every room in the lodge.
Room for Four and a Little More
The spacious loft spans half the length of the lodge and overlooks the sitting area and kitchen. Up here you will find one full size bed and three twin beds and plenty of room for your gear. The stairs lead to the loft from the kitchen. The interior tongue and groove Poplar wood was grown on property. Even more details to admire are the spindles in the loft railing, each spindle was made from an individual Cedar tree.
Trophy Wall
The making of a beautiful bragging wall begins with mounting your trophy. The lodge shows off harvests over the last few years.
Arrangements for a taxidermist is just a phone call away. We can make the arrangements you prefer. Our services include skinning, cleaning to prepare your trophy to take home.

Bontrager Whitetails is licensed by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, so no need to buy a hunting license. As a licensed hunting preserve our hunting season begins September 1 through March 20.
